BY PLANE

Toulouse-Blagnac Airport is located only 6km from downtown. It is very easy to come from and go to the airport thanks to a variety of transport services.

Tramway Line T2one of the two tram lines in Toulouse, connects the city center to the aiport. It takes about 32 minutes and a one-way ticket costs 1.70€. There is also an airport shuttle that connects the train station Toulouse Matabiau to the airport. It takes about 20 minutes (depending on the traffic) and a one-way ticket costs 8€. There are also taxi and uber services that can take you from or to the aiport. Rates range from 20-30€ from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport.

To go to the conference site:

  1. Low cost option (1.70€): take the Tramway T2 from the airport (Aéroport Blagnac) until the last stop (Palais de Justice). Then, take the subway line B (towards Ramonville) from the station Palais de Justice to the station Faculté de Pharmacie.
  2. Faster option (8€): take the bus line AERO (towards Gare routière) and stop at the station Compans-Cafarelli. Then, take the subway line B (towards Ramonville) from the station Compans-Cafarelli to the station Faculté de Pharmacie.

 

BY TRAIN

Toulouse is directly connected to the other major cities of France via the TGV (High-Speed Trains) and regional trains. Most trains offer now a free wifi access. It only takes 4-5 hours to reach Paris, Lyon, Marseilles. You can also easily go to Spain using the railroad system and for a fair price (if booked in advance).

Take the subway line A (towards Basso Combo) from the station Marengo-SNCF to the station Jean Jaurès. Then, take the subway line B (towards Ramonville) from the station Jean Jaurès to the station Faculté de Pharmacie.

 

BY BUS

There are several bus companies that can also take you from or to Toulouse. The buses usually take longer than the trains, but the fares are quite low, which is especially interesting when the train has become to expensive. Most buses offer a wifi access. Click here to compare bus tickets

Moving within Toulouse
